Service Description

SaveIt provides a free tool to download publicly available content from supported platforms. We act as a technical intermediary and do not host any content.

Legal Basis

• No content hosting — SaveIt does not store, host, or cache any copyrighted material. We function similarly to a web browser that downloads content to display it.
• Personal use — Downloads are intended for personal, non-commercial use. Personal use of copyrighted material is generally tolerated under fair use principles.
• Technical tool — SaveIt is a conversion tool, similar to open-source projects like youtube-dl which are legal and widely used.
• DMCA Safe Harbor — As we do not store content, Section 512 safe harbor provisions may apply. We respond promptly to valid DMCA takedown requests.
